NATIONAL ART SCHOOL GRAD SHOW SERIES
Central to my exploration is the mouth—a nexus of pleasure, pain, and identity. Cropped oral orifices transform the familiar into something unsettlingly alien, smearing the boundaries between private and public spheres. These hyperrealistIC, large-scale prints challenge viewers to confront the vulnerable perversion of their own oral spaces, evoking feelings that oscillate between attraction and disgust. The works focus on the fragile threshold between internal and external bodily realms, using the grotesque to recalibrate the viewer's relationship with their own body. my exploration is the mouth—a nexus of pleasure, pain, and identity.
